  Conducted by certified DECA and Collegiate DECA trainers at association and regional events, these workshops focus on topics essential to the preparation of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
• Collegiate DECA Advisor Academy | April 22, 2012 | Salt Lake City, UT
  This session, held at the Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference, provides program updates, strategies for membership and chapter development and best practices for implementing programs and gaining campus support.
• DECA New Advisor Academy | April 29-30, 2012 | Salt Lake City, UT
  A highlight of the DECA International Career Development Conference, DECA's New Advisor Academy is designed to help DECA advisors understand their roles and responsibilities and how DECA's Comprehensive Learning Program integrates into classroom instruction.
• DECA Train the Trainer Certification Course | June 14-16, 2012 | Reston, VA
  This course is designed to train key leaders of chartered associations to effectively deliver presentations and content useful to DECA chapter advisors.
• DECA Chapter Advisor Summer Institute
  June 20-23, 2012 | Providence, RI and June 26-29, 2012 | Denver, CO
  The four-day institute provides resources and generates new ideas to increase student achievement while making DECA an integral part of students' learning experiences. Content is delivered via new advisor and experienced advisor tracks. Sponsored and hosted by Johnson & Wales University.
• Collegiate DECA Train the Trainer Certification Course | August 15, 2012 | Anaheim, CA
  This course trains and certifies chartered association advisors to effectively present and deliver content useful to Collegiate DECA chapter advisors.
