National Management Institute (NMI)
The National Management Institute, offered exclusively
at the Delta Epsilon Chi International
Career Development Conference, was conceived as a
forum to allow Delta Epsilon Chi members to discuss critical
issues with business professionals. The perceptions and
philosophies of experienced business professionals can
help Delta Epsilon Chi members better prepare for their
roles as supervisors and managers.

The theme and presentation topics for each are selected
with input from chapter advisors and the Postsecondary
Program Advisory Council. The NMI typically includes presentations
by industry professionals, a case study analysis, an off-site
experience with one or more local organizations and a
team presentation. Students who are registered for a competitive
event or a special activity (voting delegate, officer
candidate, etc.) may also attend parts of the NMI.
