Finish Line Inc. $1,000 Advisor Scholarship

New for 2006-2007 Finish Line Inc. recognizes your important role in preparing students to engage companies in meaningful conversation regarding employment, training opportunities, and starting their career. In an effort to reward you for your efforts two $1,000 scholarships will be presented to the winning advisors at the International Career Development Conference.

Click here for your application. Applications are due to DECA Inc. by March 15. Finalists will be notified before the conference and asked to meet briefly with the Finish Line Inc. selection committee at the conference.

NEW FORMAT!! Professional Development Academies at ICDC
2007 marks the beginning of a new look for the International Career Development Conference. In conjunction with our competitive events program, efforts are being made to provide students and advisors with industry specific seminars and workshops, opportunities to engage with companies and our corporate supporters, and ultimately provide you with value added impact making the investment in time and travel to ICDC a good one.

Advisor Awards Lunceon
The 2007 International Career Development Conference offers us a wonderful opportunity to thank you, the advisors of our organization, for your dedication to supporting student success. Please join us for an Advisor Awards Luncheon as part of Sunday's agenda for the Professional Development Academies. Use this opportunity to network with your peers, develop new contacts with our business partners, and allow us to thank you for your time and efforts in supporting Delta Epsilon Chi.

Passport Program
The Delta Epsilon Chi Passport for success encourages local chapters and individual members to plan activities and participate in events that enhance the experiences of members at the local, state and international levels. The passport rewards action taken by members and chapters that build personal and professional skill sets. Members and chapters earning the various levels of Passport success will be recognized for their efforts at the International Career Development Conference.

Encouraging your chapter to organize their year's activities around the requirements for award recognition in the Passport Program will provide them with a well-rounded year of educationally-sound events.

Collegiate Leadership Academy (CLA)

The Collegiate Leadership Academy is an excellent conference for college students looking to enhance their leadership skills and prepare themselves as tomorrow's leaders. The CLA is open to ALL college students in any discipline.

New for 2007 – Advisors will have access to professional development opportunities geared toward providing new chapter advisors with information for managing their chapters, and our more seasoned veterans with information about new programs and developments for the year.
