Business–to–Business Marketing

Objective of the Event

Students will analyze a real–world case situation that deals with marketing/business activity between organizations, and the marketing of products/services from one business to another, then present solutions to a professional (judge) with experience in marketing and management.

Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate the application of marketing and management principles and techniques to the business environment.
  • Analyze business situations, organize thoughts and identify solutions as a team.
  • Develop a marketing strategy using a complete marketing mix.
  • Demonstrate knowledge/understanding of customer/client needs.
  • Develop a complete marketing plan of action.
  • Organize and communicate ideas and concepts effectively.
  • Accomplish objectives as a team.

Other Characteristics

  • This is a two–person event.
  • Students may use a lap–top computer in their presentation, but they are not required.
  • Additional visual presentation aids are also allowed.
  • Event has NO test.
  • Event includes the presentation of analysis to judge.
