Objective of the Event

Students will analyze a real–world human resource management case situation then present solutions to a professional (judge) with experience in human resource management.

Learning Outcomes

• Apply human resource management principles and techniques to the specific organizational environment.
• Analyze human resource situations, organize thoughts and identify solutions.
• Demonstrate knowledge/understanding of personnel needs.
• Organize and communicate ideas and concepts effectively.

Other Characteristics

• This is a one–person event.
• Students may use a laptop computer in their presentation, but they are not required.
• Additional visual presentation aids are also allowed.
• Event has NO test.
• Event includes the presentation of analysis to judge.
