Sales Management Meeting

Objective of the Event
Students will analyze a real–world sales management case situation then conduct a meeting with one or more salespeople (judges).
The student will assume the role of a sales manager for the organization represented by the situation. The role of the judge(s) will be that of the sales force affected by the specific case situation.
Learning Outcomes
- Apply management principles and techniques to the sales environment.
- Analyze business situations, organize thoughts and identify solutions.
- Demonstrate knowledge/understanding of customer/client needs.
- Understand factors related to managing a sales force.
- Organize and communicate ideas and concepts effectively.
Other Characteristics
- This is a one–person event.
- Students may use a lap–top computer in their presentation, but they are not required.
- Additional visual presentation aids are also allowed.
- Event has NO test.
- Event includes the presentation of analysis to judge.
