Business Simulations
The business simulation events measure a broad range of knowledge, skills and attitudes, both general marketing/management and industry-specific, identified by business and industry professionals as essential to success in a given occupation.
Business Simulations events are designed to measure a participant's proficiency in one of six (6) professional career areas:
Participants will be given a 100-question test that is both general marketing and management questions and industry-specific questions. Participants will also complete a role-play in which they are given a business case to solve and will interact with the judge as they present their solution. All business simulation events are individual events.
Performance Indicators are used for all six (6) Delta Epsilon Chi Business Simulations events. Performance Indicators are used in developing role-plays, as well as occupational specific exam questions. There is a specific list of Performance Indicators for each event.
At the International Career Development Conference winning participants are recognized for top test scores as well as top role-pay scores.
