"The entrepreneur always searches for change, responds to it, and exploits it as an opportunity." - Peter F. Drucker, The Father of Modern Management
The dream of becoming an entrepreneur is shared by many Delta Epsilon Chi members. The Entrepreneurship Challenge at the International Career Development Conference was designed to allow Delta Epsilon Chi members to join those who share the entrepreneurial spirit. Find out if starting a business is right for you, and discover what it takes to succeed!
The Challenge allows for in-depth discussion and interactive learning between Challenge participants and successful entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneurship Challenge includes the popular team competition worth thousands of dollars in prizes!
All participants in the Entrepreneurship Challenge will receive a certificate of participation. The top teams will be recognized onstage at the Grand Awards Session.
The Entrepreneurship Challenge is open to all conference participants. Students may register for the Entrepreneurship Challenge as their primary conference activity. Event competitors may also participate in the Challenge as a secondary conference activity, as their schedule allows.
Along with workshops and seminars that provide you with the latest in business knowledge to help you focus your entrepreneurial efforts, you will also work in teams to address a unique business concept that will be presented to you during the International Conference. Each team makes a 5-minute presentation to one or more judges who will determine which team made the best business pitch. The top teams from the preliminary competition will move on to the finals, where they will compete for awards and recognition.
