Leadership
One of the most important purposes of a Delta Epsilon
Chi chapter is to provide opportunities for members
to participate in activities that will help them realize
their full leadership potential. Being a leader means
more than winning an election or receiving a title.
A leader places the needs of the group above his/her
own personal gains, and directs others toward a common
goal. Any chapter member can serve as a leader when
he or she influences others in order to help the chapter
reach its goal. All members have the opportunity for
leadership development by serving as a chapter officer
or as part of a committee.
Attending Leadership Conferences
Delta Epsilon Chi offers a number of opportunities for
leadership development at state/provincial conferences
and the Collegiate Leadership Academy--held
in two exciting locations: New Orleans and New York
City. For more information about these events, visit
our Conferences section.
