Every year brings new challenges and new opportunities to our Delta Epsilon Chi chapters. How do we build our membership? How do we get everyone active and involved? These six steps help you make this year even better than the last!
Organize
Hold an officer training & orientation to build vital leadership skills and create your annual action plan. Set goals for the year and look ahead to any challenges or opportunities your chapter may face in the coming years.
Recruit
New members are vital to the growth of your chapter. Hold info sessions in dorms and speak during freshmen and new-student orientations.

Enter the DECA College Connection and add yourself as the school contact. You'll get a list of all DECA alumni on your campus who are interested in Delta Epsilon Chi membership.

Promote
Market your chapter to local businesses. And talk to your local government representatives and help them understand why supporting a student organization is so important to you.
Fund
Attending conferences, buying t-shirts and even having a party requires some money - fundraising is a big part of what chapters need to do.
Attend
Experience education - don't just talk about it. In the fall attend our Collegiate Leadership Academy in New York City or New Orleans. The International Career Development Conference is in April. Also check your state profile page to find other conference opportunities available to you.

Celebrate
Success is yours! You have recruited new members, completed your program of work and encouraged members to attend unique conferences. It's time to celebrate!

Additional materials are available to you as you grow your chapter, recruit more members, and prepare for the exciting educational and professional leadership, community service and competitive activities offered through Delta Epsilon Chi.

The Delta Epsilon Chi Passport for success encourages local chapters and individual members to plan activities and participate in events that enhance the experiences of members at the local, state and national levels. The passport seeks to reward action taken by members and chapters that build personal and professional skill sets. Members and chapters participating in, and earning the various levels of Passport success will be recognized for their efforts at the International Career Development Conference.
